My name is Mary-Ann and I am a fully qualified English teacher. I have a BA degree in English and Linguistics, TEFLA certificate and a teaching certificate for teaching in the UK (PGCE). I have many years teaching experience, and have taught many nationalities.
I love to teach online from my home in the UK, and I look forward to enjoying our English lessons together on Skype.

InformationI am a native English speaker with a neutral accent.
An example of a general 30 minute lesson:
5 minutes - Greetings! Swap news about the weather or a little personal news - a typical English social conversation.
10 minutes - feedback on homework. Any grammar, sentence structure, pronunciation or vocabulary. This may lead on to:
10 - 15 minutes - conversation topic or new exercise.
(This is an example - we can structure the lesson any way you wish, depending on your aims).
At the end of every lesson I will send you feedback on grammar, pronunciation or vocabulary etc. A new homework is sent within 2/3 days.
The secret to learning a language is.....listen and practice, listen and practice.... and then..... listen some more and practice some more!
