Jennifer has taught 9 online classes to 3 students in 2 countries...
Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am an English native speaker. I have been a professional English teacher since 2006, and before that I was a volunteer English teacher. I have taught English in the UK, the USA, Japan and Spain.
My students have included teenagers on summer camp, Japanese businessmen and housewives, Japanese overseas volunteers, new immigrants into the USA, long term unemployed people, people in a wide variety of jobs including pharmacy, banking, catering and real estate as well as University students trying to improve their grades.
All these students had one thing in common - they all wanted to communicate better in English, whether it was for work, travel or exam success. I helped them and I can help you!
I am a qualified teacher with both a CELTA certificate and a Certificate in Education (FE). I used to teach Economics and Business Studies at high school / junior college level and have degrees in these subjects.
As I also have business experience in a variety of different fields such as real estate, reception, customer service, and educational management, you can be sure that I understand you what you need to acheive to be a successful communicator in the workplace.

I am a British native speaker of English. However, I used to live in the USA and have a good awareness of the different expressions and grammar structures in use in American English.
As a teacher in London I met students from all over the world and understand the differences between standard English and other varieties of English.
My aim is to help students communicate effectively, not to make them speak in a certain way. There are many different ways to understand and be understood!
